1 Axis Gantry is widely used in laser welding, laser cutting, gluing machine, spraying machine, drilling machine, distribution machine, small CNC machine tools, engraving and milling machine, drawing machine, cutting machine, etc. Conveyor, sorting equipment, applicable test equipment, educational equipment, etc.

At present, there are two commonly used linear modules & 1 Axis Gantry: synchronous belt module and club module.

1 Axis Gantry of synchronous belt is mainly composed of synchronous belt, linear guide rail, aluminum alloy profile, coupling, motor, photoelectric switch, etc.
The ball screw type is mainly composed of ball screw, linear guide rail, aluminum alloy profile, ball screw support, connector, motor, photoelectric switch, etc.

General 1 Axis Gantry mainly has two transmission methods: ball screw transmission and synchronous belt transmission. The two transmission methods have their own advantages and disadvantages.

The main advantage of ball screw drive is high precision. The system can reach the repeated positioning accuracy of 0.006mm. The transverse load capacity of the beam is similar to that of the convey or belt module. However, it is generally not advocated that the synchronous belt adopts straight load, and the running speed of the screw slide is slower than that of the synchronous belt, but it is also related to the selection of screw distance, motor type and module type. Pay attention to the maintenance of screws in the application of ball screw linear module. Generally speaking, after moving for a certain distance, clean the dirt and replace the grease in time.

This transmission method is characterized by fast operation speed. Generally, the speed can reach 1m-2m / s and the stroke can reach 3M. We believe that the defect of the linear module & 1 Axis Gantry is that the maintenance frequency of the general synchronous belt is high, and the accuracy of repeated positioning is generally 0.1mm lower than that of the driving lead screw. Therefore, both transmission methods can be selected according to the needs of the equipment.
