Maintenance and troubleshooting of linear modules of Gantry 3 axis Robot.
Maintenance of linear module of Gantry 3 axis Robot is the key to the long-term operation of automation equipment. Pay more attention to maintenance of linear modules, because it is easy to lose mechanical parts after working for 24 hours a day. 1. Routine inspection
1) After the operation of the shell and cable, check for damage, dents and tension.
2) Is there abnormal vibration or noise when the ball screw, linear guide rail and bearing move?
3) Is there abnormal vibration or noise when the motor or coupling moves?
2. Check all visible areas for dust, oil, scratches, etc.
Linear guide rail and ball screw must be lubricated regularly. If lubricating oil (fat) is added irregularly, the friction between ball ball and ball groove will be increased during the operation of linear module, which may shorten the service life of guide rail and ball screw.
3. Maintenance method
1) Add lubricating oil (viscosity: 30-150cst) to the linear guide rail once a month, clean the old oil stain, and carefully clean the guide rail surface and bead groove with a dust-free cloth. Wipe it clean and apply it directly on the outside of the guide rail.
2) Add lubricating grease (viscosity: 30-40cst) to the ball screw once a month to clean the old oil stains. In addition, gently wipe the nut and bead groove with a clean cloth and apply it directly on the outside of the nut.
