Tallman Robotics Linear Actuator with Timing Belt is used in a variety of industrial applications. It is a very solid hardened linear actuator, which provides high speed, high acceleration and long stroke, combined with a rigid structure. It is ideal for single axis configurations or high-speed multi axis gantry systems. The slider is rigidly supported on three sides by heavy duty roller bearings mounted in a sturdy aluminum housing. The bearing rollers are preloaded to reduce the clearance in the system and strategically placed along the slider so that the load is evenly distributed over the entire length of the slider.
The high-strength steel cored synchronous belt and pulley system provides a fast, highly repeatable positioning slider.
The belt pulley with large size is adopted, so that it can provide higher output thrust compared with the overall size. The installation method from synchronous belt to sliding block is designed to facilitate the replacement of synchronous belt without removing the load, and provide a very rigid connection. Due to the low friction coefficient, the slider design provides high mechanical efficiency and long service life. Lengthened sliders and linear units with multiple sliders can be used for custom applications.
Typical application areas of Linear Actuator with Timing Belt: as part of the structure of cost-effective machinery and handling systems:
• Handling techniques: for example, pallet loading for delivery systems
• Textile machinery composition: for example, cross cutting, cutting and stacking, stitching, seam knitting
• Process engineering: e.g. paint, coating, adhesive, stencil
• Storage technology: e.g. delivery, inventory
• Construction technology: for example, construction of formwork, placement of reinforcing bars
• Cleanroom technology: e.g. wafer transport, wafer coating
• Machine tool manufacturing: e.g. tool coating, tool replacement
• Testing techniques: e.g., controlling ultrasonic sensing
